Depending on the complexity of the particular case, micro-pigmentation of the eyebrows can take from 1 and a half to 2 and a half hours. If this is your first session, be patient and feel free to give the initial consultation enough time to guarantee an optimal result.

Consultation and Preparation for the Procedure

In the first stage, the specialist will evaluate the options for eyebrows and select the most suitable technique. She will pre-contour the proposed shape and check it from different angles and with different client grimaces. The client is usually lying down while the design is being created, sitting if necessary for better control.

Next, the specialist selects the appropriate shade of pigment to match the skin tone and existing eyebrow hairs so that the resulting whole looks harmonious. The shape and color of the pigment are consulted with the client and adjusted if necessary.

Pigment Application

Impeccable hygiene is a matter of course. Therefore, we use disposable equipment and always sterile instruments during the procedure. Before the actual tattooing, we disinfect the eyebrow area, apply an anesthetic cream, and cover it with foil.

Once the zone is numbed, we proceed to apply the pigment in one of the following ways:

  • Powder eyebrows - visually look as if the make-up has been applied using an eyebrow pencil or shadow.
  • Microblading - involves drawing hairs and simulating their natural shape and length.

Correction

In the absolute majority of cases, it is necessary to correct the tattoo after it has healed. This is the correction of minor imperfections that could not be observed before. In particular, this involves filling in gaps or irregularities in shape caused by the peeling of the striae, partial rejection of the pigment by the organism, or its poorer acceptance in the case of oily skin with enlarged pores.

During this additional procedure, the specialist can also fine-tune the intensity of the tattoo and the shade of the pigment. At the same time, a two-phase tattooing can achieve a more durable result.

What are the most common questions we are asked about eyebrow permanent make-up? Take a look at the list of popular FAQs. 

On average, permanent make-up lasts 1-3 years. However, its durability is very individual and depends on many factors – skin type, age, metabolic process, application technique, pigment color, and lifestyle. Its flawless appearance requires regular renewal. 

Immediately after the procedure, avoid contact with the tattoo with water. Do not apply any cosmetic products or powder for the first 4 days. Keep the area clean and avoid activities and places that cause sweating – gyms, saunas, etc.

During the healing process, avoid peeling off the scabs and let them fall off naturally. This will allow the color to absorb properly. 

In the salon after the procedure, you will be given a special disinfectant, which should be wiped on the eyebrows on the first day after the application. 

The speed of healing is to some extent influenced by the chosen technique and the precision of its execution. Healing of the area is a little longer in the case of microblading than in the case of powder eyebrows. However, the healing time should not exceed 1 week. During this time, the clusters will fall out and the pigment will lighten.
The question of painfulness is very individual. We try to increase your comfort by using an anesthetic cream. Of course, there are also possible pauses if you request them during the procedure. However, you certainly do not have to worry about unbearable pain.
